I view taxation in the same context as the Widow's Mite. Who is the government to take and waste our personal resources? The House of Representatives holds the purse of the nation. That unique position allows them to bring taxation and spending under control. Washington observed, "Few men have virtue to withstand the highest bidder." My vote will be for virtue.
